Natalie Levin

Vice President

Originally from Chicago, Natalie moved to Bloomington to pursue graduate studies at Indiana University. She recently completed a PhD in History and now works for the IU Foundation.

A longtime vegan, she was inspired to get involved with PEAK after adopting two potbellied pigs—one an abandoned pet and the other a piglet rescued from a small family pork operation. Working to secure transportation and safe homes for the remaining pigs made her newly appreciative of the vital role sanctuaries play. She values sanctuary as a way to directly serve survivors of animal agriculture and to advocate for animals in an uplifting and restorative way. Natalie lives in Bloomington with her husband, two parrots, and two pigs.
