Feather Valley Updates

Please welcome these five baby boys to PEAK! They just completed their quarantine period and moved into the Bachelor Pad on Monday. You see in the photo, Lily came over to let them know she is boss, but I don’t think they noticed. They are experiencing the good life and all the things chickens love for the first time—it can be a lot to take in!

These boys are between 4-6 weeks old, still have blue eyes, new feathers growing in, and are peeping up a storm! They are survivors of 2020 Kaporos in NYC. While we are shocked this takes place at all, we never thought it would go on in the midst of a pandemic. Never the less, the brutal practice took place. We are so grateful for all the rescuers who save as many of these innocent babies as possible. These five little ones are safe now.

Our bird residents’ veterinarian care cost for October totals nearly $4,000!! We would be deeply grateful for any donations towards their necessary veterinarian care. Thank you!
