We are grateful that we are seeing improvements in Brandi’s pain, activity, and mobility. Her vet added a nerve pain medication, and it has been successful in managing her pain. Since starting this new medication regime, we have seen Brandi have some more active days than she has in months! We are thrilled to report a team from Purdue Large Animal Hospital came to the Sanctuary to evaluate her and draw blood recently. Her bloodwork came back normal, which is great news. However, we are still closely monitoring her mobility and the possible side effects of the medications.
Brandi has enjoyed time with her family—Annie, Erica, and Andy! They love to spend the day together foraging for acorns, and of course, napping. For now, we are just helping her to have the best possible days with all the love and comfort she deserves and needs. Thank you for helping make that possible too.
