In April, we will celebrate our 1 year anniversary at the new Freedom Sanctuary. It’s truly mind-blowing at how far we’ve come, which is due to our amazing community. Be a part of continuing to build PEAK 5.0 and help us welcome more animals in need by volunteering. This year, we’re asking for volunteers who can commit to twice a month or more. If you can only come once in a while, please sign up for one of our monthly Workdays (see below)!
PEAK runs on volunteers! Sign-up through the form below.
Current Opportunities include:
Picking up pig feed order in Cloverdale and delivering it to the Sanctuary 2X a month
Helping with grass mowing weekly or biweekly starting in April (riding lawnmower!)
Barn Cleaning, raking and shoveling soiled straw and hay, filling waters, scooping poop in Chicken Coop. Weekly or Bi-Weekly
Special building projects
“Workday + Potluck” are held one Saturday per month from 10:45 AM – 3:00 PM.
2019 Dates are May 11th, June 8th, July 13th, August 10th, September 14th, and October 12th.
These events are a great way to meet others in the PEAK community, be of service to animals, and be a part of building PEAK 5.0. We celebrate our 1 year anniversary in our new property in April. We’ll spend some time, in the beginning, connecting and grounding, work on a few projects, enjoy a variety of vegan dishes, and meet a few residents. Each Workday we’ll have a list of possible projects depending on priorities and weathers. Tasks include things like painting, trimming bushes, mowing, scooping poop, and more.
You will need to reserve your spot by filling out the form below, as we limit the size to 10 each month.
